I understand that your privacy is important to you and I feel the same. As the new general data protection act comes into force, as a therapist I need to inform you of the data I collect and how I use it. I need to collect and process your personal data and any sensitive medical data in order to determine if you are suitable for a treatment and to fulfil my legal and business obligations. All data is stored securely for 5 years from the point that you are no longer an active client. I am the only person that has access to or sees this information. At any point you are welcome to ask to see any and all information I hold for you personally. I have never passed information onto any third parties and will not in the future. Currently I send out gift vouchers and use text/phone to arrange / cancel appointments. I will continue to keep you updated on offers and treatments through my website and facebook page and social media platforms. You will be asked what information you would like to receive from me and how you wish to be communicated with and you are welcome to discuss this with me at any time.
