Who I Am and What I Do

I am a qualified holistic therapist and a member of the guild of Holistic Therapists. I specialize in;


  • Reiki (Usui Shiki Ryoho) - trained to master level.

  • Mama reiki

  • Reflexology

  • Ear candles

  • Meditation teaching

  • Massage including Indian head massage, Indian holistic facial and arms/hands & lower leg/feet

  • Aromatherapy blending


I am also a qualified Speech and Language Therapist.

I am fulfilling a life-long dream to work as a holistic therapist.

I started my journey into Holistics with studying Reiki and went on to complete levels 1, 2 and 3.

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning ‘universal life force energy’. Reiki reinforces the body’s ability to heal itself by clearing blocks in energy and balancing our energy enabling us to heal. This training developed my passion for enabling the client to heal themselves and how, as a holistic therapist I can work to encourage the development of this inner awareness.

I have a special interest in reiki, see my reiki blog (coming soon) where I explore the benefits of reiki in pregnancy and reiki for high physical achievers.

Mama reiki is a specialized reiki treatment for pregnancy. It is a fabulous treatment connecting mother and baby and promoting peace and harmony for both mother and baby.


Other Holistic treatments I provide include indian head massage which is a wonderful treatment and perfect for destressing and relaxing. It also aims to rebalance your body’s energies. It uses acupressure massage on the head, face, neck and shoulders.


The benefits of meditation are endless. With such busy lives meditation gives us the opportunity to stop and ‘just breathe’. Meditation is a practice whereby the individual uses a technique to achieve mental clarity and emotional calm. This is can be achieved in a number of ways such as focussing the mind on an activity (eg breathing). It can help with pain, stress, anxiety and much more. It is not about turning off the millions of thoughts running through our mind – it is simply about observing them without judgement leading us to better understand and consequently manage them.


Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to help improve our physical and emotional state. Eg the essential oil lavender is an anti-inflammatory and excellent for treating skin conditions including burns, it reduces stress and anxiety, and helps with sleep. Using essential oils enables us to reconnect with ourselves. To stop and just be.


Reflexology is an incredibly relaxing treatment for body and soul, with gentle but firm massage for the feet. The feet are a map for the whole body so reflexology benefits the whole person, targeting both the physical body and the mental and emotional factors that are affecting your wellbeing.  


If you have read my profile regarding my qualifications and special interests you can see there is a running theme with the treatments I provide. My aim is to balance energy, promote relaxation, reduce stress, and to give you time and space to just be and to ‘just breathe’. When we achieve this we gain self-awareness and our body and mind can then do what it needs to do to heal.
